Venerable Theoklito the Wonderworker, a married woman of great charity.
Saint Theoklito lived in the Byzantine period as a married laywoman who devoted herself to almsgiving and prayer. Tradition relates that she gave away nearly all she had to the poor and was granted the gift of working miracles.
She reposed in peace and is remembered by the Church as an example of holiness in ordinary life.

On the New Calendar, Theoklito the Wonderworker is commemorated on August 3. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on August 16 of the civil calendar.
