Holy New Martyr Triantaphyllos of Zagora, who suffered at Constantinople.
Saint Triantaphyllos was a young sailor from Zagora on Mount Pelion. Accused before the Ottoman authorities in Constantinople, he refused to renounce Christ despite threats and flattery and was beheaded in the seventeenth century.
He is one of the New Martyrs of the Turkish yoke and the patron of all who bear his name.
