Zoticus, Attalus, Kamasis and Philip of Niculitel

Holy Martyrs Zoticus, Attalus, Kamasis and Philip, who suffered at Noviodunum in Scythia Minor.

These four martyrs suffered in the early fourth century at Noviodunum, near present-day Niculitel in Romania. Their tomb, inscribed with their names, was discovered in 1971 beneath an ancient church, one of the oldest martyr shrines found in the region.

On the New Calendar, Zoticus, Attalus, Kamasis and Philip of Niculitel is commemorated on June 4. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on June 17 of the civil calendar.
