Holy New Martyr Apostolos of Agios Lavrentios on Mount Pelion.
Saint Apostolos was born in the village of Agios Lavrentios on Mount Pelion and worked in Constantinople. Slandered before the authorities, he refused to deny Christ and was beheaded in the seventeenth century.
He is honoured especially in Thessaly and by those who bear his name.
