St. Arsenios was born in Ioannina in 1800 and became a monk on Mount Athos before settling in the Cyclades. He served as spiritual father of the convent of the Transfiguration on Paros, where he was famed for his prayer, discernment, and miracles.
He reposed in 1877, and his relics are venerated on Paros. He is commemorated on January 31.

Saint Arsenios was born in Ioannina in 1800 and became a disciple of Saint Gregory of Paros. He served as spiritual father of the Convent of the Transfiguration on Paros, where he was renowned for his gifts of prayer and discernment.
He reposed in 1877; this day marks the uncovering of his relics, and his principal feast is on the thirty-first of January.
