Saint Arsenios, Archbishop of Serbia, successor of Saint Sava.
Arsenios was a monk of Zica under Saint Sava, who made him abbot and, on leaving for the Holy Land, appointed him his successor as Archbishop of Serbia in 1233.
He governed the Serbian Church for thirty years, moved the see to Pec, and reposed in 1266; his relics were found incorrupt.

On the New Calendar, Arsenios of Serbia is commemorated on October 28. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on November 10 of the civil calendar.
