Innas, Pinnas and Rimmas

Holy Martyrs of Scythia, disciples of the Apostle Andrew.

Sts. Innas, Pinnas and Rimmas were natives of Scythia, north of the Black Sea, and according to tradition disciples of the Apostle Andrew. Having preached Christ among the pagans, they were bound to stakes in a frozen river and died of the cold.

They are commemorated on January 20.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Innas, Pinnas and Rimmas is commemorated on January 20. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on February 2 of the civil calendar.
