Markianos the Martyr

Holy Martyr Markianos.

St. Markianos was a martyr whose name the Greek synaxaria record for March 10 with the note that he was stoned to death for his confession of Christ. Nothing further of his life has been preserved.

The Church keeps his memory on this day.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Markianos the Martyr is commemorated on March 10. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on March 23 of the civil calendar.
