Holy Monk-Martyr Maximos, stoned for the faith.
St. Maximos was a monk whose name the Greek synaxaria preserve for March 6 with the note that he was stoned to death for his confession of Christ. Nothing further of his life has come down to us.
The Church honors him among the monk-martyrs on this day.
