Holy Martyrs Processus and Martinian, jailers of Rome converted by the Apostles Peter and Paul.
Processus and Martinian were, according to tradition, guards of the Mamertine prison in Rome who came to faith through the preaching of the Apostles Peter and Paul, whom they held in custody. They were baptized by the apostles.
For this they themselves were arrested and beheaded in the persecution of Nero.

On the New Calendar, Processus and Martinian is commemorated on April 11. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on April 24 of the civil calendar.
