Titus the Wonderworker

Venerable Titus the Wonderworker.

St. Titus the Wonderworker was a monk who from his youth gave himself to the ascetic life, excelling in obedience, humility, and love for the brethren. He served Christ in a monastic brotherhood, and for the purity of his life he received from God the grace of working wonders, from which he takes his title.

The synaxaria preserve few details of his story, but the Church keeps his memory as one of the quiet venerable fathers whose hidden labors adorned the monastic life. He is commemorated on April 2.
