  Apostles Aristarchus, Pudens & Trophimus

  Apostle, Αρίσταρχος, Πούδης, Τρόφιμος

  The holy Apostles Aristarchus, Pudens, and Trophimus were of the Seventy, fellow laborers of the Apostle Paul who are named in his epistles. Aristarchus shared Paul's journeys and imprisonment; Pudens received the faithful into his house in Rome; Trophimus accompanied Paul on his travels and shared his final trials.

• Leonides of Athens

  Hierarch, Λεωνίδης Αθηνών

  Leonides was Bishop of Athens in the third century. During the persecution of Decius he was arrested and taken to Corinth, where he was tried with seven Christian women who had been converted by his preaching.

• Crescens of Myra

  Martyr, Κρήσκης

  Crescens was a Christian of noble family in Myra of Lycia who openly urged the pagans of the city to abandon their idols and believe in Christ. He was arrested by the prefect and refused every demand to sacrifice.

• Anastasia and Basilissa of Rome

  Holy Woman, Αναστασία και Βασίλισσα

  Anastasia and Basilissa were noble women of Rome, disciples of the Apostles Peter and Paul. Tradition relates that after the apostles' martyrdom they recovered and buried their bodies.

• Ananias of Lacedaemon

  Hierarch, Ανανίας Λακεδαιμονίας

  Ananias Lampardis was Metropolitan of Lacedaemon in the Peloponnese in the eighteenth century, a hierarch of learning who cared for the education and welfare of his flock under Ottoman rule.

• Theodore the Presbyter and Pausolypios

  Martyr, Θεόδωρος ο Πρεσβύτερος και Παυσολύπιος

  Theodore, a priest, and Pausolypios are commemorated together in the Greek synaxaria among the martyrs of the fifteenth of April. Little is preserved of their story beyond their confession of Christ and their death for the faith.

• Suchias and the Martyrs of Georgia

  Saint, Σούκιος και οι συν αυτώ

  Suchias and his companions were noblemen of Caucasian Albania who escorted a princess to Armenia and there came to faith in Christ. Leaving the court, they lived as ascetics in the mountains of Georgia.
