Holy Martyr Agathangelos, companion of St. Clement of Ankyra.
St. Agathangelos was a Roman who was baptized by St. Clement of Ankyra and became his companion in the long years of his sufferings. Together they endured tortures in many cities before being beheaded at Ankyra in the early fourth century.
He is commemorated with St. Clement on January 23.
