Holy Apostle Andronikos.
The Holy Apostle Andronikos was one of the Seventy, greeted by St. Paul in the Epistle to the Romans as his kinsman and fellow prisoner, notable among the apostles and in Christ before him. With his fellow laborer Junia he preached the Gospel and turned many from idols to the living God.
Tradition honors him as a tireless missionary of the apostolic age whose labors bore fruit in many lands. He is commemorated on May 17.
