Holy Martyrs Solochon, Pamphamer and Pamphylon, Egyptian soldiers martyred at Chalcedon.
Solochon, Pamphamer and Pamphylon were Egyptian soldiers serving at Chalcedon under the Emperor Maximian. Refusing to sacrifice to idols, they were beaten and tortured; tradition relates that Solochon endured especially cruel torments and, carried to the house of a Christian, gave up his soul after instructing those present in the faith.
They are commemorated on May 17.
