Bianor and Silouanos

Holy Martyrs Bianor and Silouanos of Pisidia.

St. Bianor was a Christian of Pisidia who was tortured for refusing to sacrifice to idols. Tradition relates that Silouanos, seeing his courage, confessed Christ as well.

Both were beheaded and received the crown of martyrdom together.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Bianor and Silouanos is commemorated on July 10. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on July 23 of the civil calendar.
