Drosis the Martyr

Holy Martyr Drosis.

St. Drosis is commemorated on this day as a woman martyr who confessed Christ during the persecutions. Tradition relates that she died by the sword.

Her name is preserved in the Synaxarion among the martyrs of this day.

On the New Calendar, Drosis the Martyr is commemorated on July 28. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on August 10 of the civil calendar.
