Holy Martyrs Victor, Zoticus, Acindynus, Caesarius, Severian, Christopher, Theonas and Antoninus of Nicomedia.
These men were witnesses of the sufferings of the Great Martyr George at Nicomedia and, seeing his endurance and the wonders worked through him, believed in Christ and confessed openly before the emperor.
They were put to death at the beginning of the fourth century and are honoured together with the other converts of Saint George's martyrdom.
Feast day
On the New Calendar, Martyrs of Nicomedia converted by Saint George is commemorated on April 20. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on May 3 of the civil calendar.
