Antipater of Bostra

Saint Antipater, Bishop of Bostra in Arabia, theologian and opponent of Origenism.

Saint Antipater was bishop of Bostra in Arabia in the fifth century, a contemporary of the emperor Leo. He was noted for his learning and wrote works against the errors of Origen, which were cited with approval at the later councils. He reposed in peace.
