Saint Triphyllius, Bishop of Leucosia (Nicosia) in Cyprus, disciple of Saint Spyridon.
Saint Triphyllius was born in Constantinople and educated in law at Beirut before becoming a disciple of Saint Spyridon of Trimythous, whose humility he learned to imitate. He was made bishop of Leucosia and was renowned for his eloquence and learning.
Saint Jerome praised him as one of the most eloquent men of his time. He reposed in peace in the fourth century.
