Holy Apostle Erastus.
The holy apostle Erastos, one of the Seventy, is named by the Apostle Paul in his epistle to the Romans as the treasurer of the city of Corinth. A companion of Paul in the work of the Gospel, he served the growing Church with the same faithfulness he had shown in civic office.
Tradition remembers him as continuing in ministry among the first generation of Christians, laboring for the spread of the faith. He is commemorated on November 10.

On the New Calendar, Erastos the Apostle is commemorated on November 10. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on November 23 of the civil calendar.
