Milos the Wonderworker

Saint Milos was a bishop in Persia in the fourth century, known as a wonderworker. When his flock rejected his preaching he travelled to Jerusalem and Egypt, and on his return continued to labour for the Gospel.

During the persecution of King Shapur he was arrested with two disciples and put to death by the sword.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Milos the Wonderworker is commemorated on November 10. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on November 23 of the civil calendar.
