Nymphas and Euboulos

Holy Apostles Nymphas and Euboulos of the Seventy, disciples of St. Paul.

The Apostles Nymphas and Euboulos were disciples of the Apostle Paul. Nymphas, whose house at Laodicea served as a church, is greeted in the Epistle to the Colossians; Euboulos is mentioned in the Second Epistle to Timothy as being with Paul in Rome.

Both laboured in spreading the Gospel and reposed in peace.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Nymphas and Euboulos is commemorated on February 28. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on March 13 (a day earlier in leap years) of the civil calendar.
