Venerable Xenophon, founder of the Monastery of Xenophontos on Mount Athos.
Xenophon was an Athonite ascetic who, tradition relates, founded the monastery that bears his name on the western shore of the Holy Mountain, dedicated to the Great Martyr George, in the tenth century.
He reposed in peace and is honoured among the founders of Athos.
