Evodos, Kallisti and Hermogenes

Holy Martyrs Evodos, Kallisti and Hermogenes, siblings of Nicomedia.

The holy martyrs Evodos, Kallisti and Hermogenes were siblings who confessed Christ at Nicomedia during the persecutions of the early fourth century. Refusing to offer sacrifice to idols, they were condemned and beheaded together.

The Church commemorates them on September 1 together with the Forty Virgin Martyrs of Adrianople.
